Headshot Happy Hour
On September 20th from 12p - 4p p.m., Park and Lex Studios and Black & Busy will be hosting our first Headshot Happy Hour. We want you to come mix and mingle while getting a fresh new headshot. We will have music, good vibes, drinks, and light bites. We have two packages available for purchase. Images will be shot by the Studio owner and headshot photographer, @photosbyrome. We look forward to meeting and capturing you all.
Sanctuary : Sanctuary City
Artist FAITH-ANN YOUNG joins contemporary floral designer VAL JURADO for a one day installation at PARK + LEX STUDIOS — to create SANCTUARY : SANCTUARY CITY - a much needed, temporary sanctuary for reflection, comfort, and connection for our community in this tender moment for Los Angeles.
Young’s diaphanous textile sculptures will drift overhead while Jurado’s vibrant floral installation and altar honor both the spirit of the city and those affected this year by the fires and ICE raids.
Guests are invited to pause, process, journal, and listen to ambient sound meditations. Visitors may add to the altar with a candle, note, or offering, shaping the work into a living monument of collective memory and care. This space is a gift to the community, so come and experience this place of rest + repair, a much needed gift to the community during this heavy time in the city.

We will be providing a space for portrait photographer to capture guests
This art show aims to celebrate LA's community, its people, and its artistry, while also raising funds to support vendors and families impacted by ICE raids.
These raids have terrorized and targeted hardworking individuals regardless of their documentation or criminal record. The event features diverse participants from all over the world, reflecting the richness that makes LA special.
