Park and Lex Studios is a professional creative studio rental in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Located in the DTLA Arts District, our space is designed for photographers, filmmakers, brands, and creatives who need a thoughtfully built environment to do their best work. Whether you're booking a solo shoot, GATHERING OTHERS FOR COMMUNITY AND WELLNESS EVENTS, or bringing a full production team, this is your home base in LA.
Our 1,500 sq ft production studio in the Arts District is equipped with a 12-foot white cyclorama, professional lighting, blackout curtains, PLENTY OF CHAIRS and everything a working creative needs on set. It's one of the few independently owned production studios in Downtown LA built equally for photo, video, COMMUNITY and live events — without the overhead of a large facility rental.

About THE FOUNDERS
Rome and Kiara are the founders of Park and Lex Studios, a Black-owned creative space in the DTLA Arts District built for makers, storytellers, and community.
Born and raised in Harlem, Rome brings a deep love for culture, craft, and people-driven experiences. Kiara, a Brooklyn native, carries the same New York grit and creative energy, with a sharp eye for how space can shape connection. As working creatives themselves, they wanted to build the kind of studio they always wished existed: a place where artists and teams can produce, experiment, and collaborate, but also feel genuinely comfortable.
Park and Lex STUDIOS is designed to be more than a rental. It’s a welcoming third space where people can gather, recharge, and create alongside others, whether it’s for production, workshops, talks, or intimate events. At the heart of it all is a simple mission: make room for creativity, and make it feel like home.

Yes and No. The rental comes with two 400W Godox Photo Strobes with Pocketwizard, one 150 Watt Nanlite LED spotlight, Modifiers, 5 C-Stands, Sandbags, Shoot Cart, apple boxes, and clamps.

Free 2 Hour Limit street parking is available on E 2nd Street and surrounding blocks. There are also paid parking lots on 2nd st, 3rd st and South Santa Fe Ave starting at around $4-5 per hour. All are within walking distance of the studio.

Absolutely. Outside food, crew, and production teams are welcome.

Yes. There is a small accessible elevator which leads to freight elevator for guests who may need it. There is also a wheelchair accessible restroom located inside of the studio.
